T-shirt Giveaway | Monday, April 9 | 11:30am in North Dining Hall & South Dining Hall

Stop by to pick up a free Ally Week t-shirt, as a fun way to both kick o the week, and to help to spread the message that everyone within our community is called "...to sustain a campus climate at Notre Dame where the dignity and inclusion of all as beloved friends and allies is preserved and fostered." (Beloved Friends and Allies, 2012)

More Color, More Pride| Monday, April 9 | 7:00pm in 210 Duncan Student Center

Amber Hikes will address  the creation of Philly’s Pride flag (the one with black and brown stripes), the origin of the campaign, the local, national, and international response to the flag, what it teaches about intersectionality. Amber serves as the Executive Director of LGBT Affairs for the city of Philadelphia and is the Mayor's principal policy advisor on issues affecting the LGBTQ community.

Transgender Day of Remembrance | Co-Sponsored by Right to Life | Tuesday, April 10 | 9:00pm at The Grotto

This prayer service will honor and remember transgender people whose lives have been lost this year based on their identity. This event is also a part of Right to Life’s You Are Loved Week

LGBTQ & Ally Mass | Wednesday, April 11 | 7:00pm in Sorin Hall Chapel

Come together in solidarity for the realization of a community where all are safe, welcome, and valued members, regardless of difference for an LGBTQ & Ally Mass.  “My dear people, let us love one another since love comes from God and everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God.” John 4:7. All are welcomed to mass, regardless of faith. Reception to follow in the Sorin Hall TV Lounge.

Statistics show that youth homelessness continues to be a problem within the United States. Join us in assembling "Blessings Bags", filled with various basic-needs items to be donated to the Center for the Homeless here in South Bend.
