Originally from South Bend, Rose is no stranger to Notre Dame. After receiving her BA in American Studies and Peace Studies from ND, though, she decided it was finally time to leave Indiana and pursue her love of both social justice and the mountains out west. While there, Rose spent one year with Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest serving houseless youth in the greater Portland suburbs. Most recently, she completed her Masters of Arts in History at Montana State University, specifically examining the role that disability and gender played in creating America’s first national park. Even though Rose has enjoyed her time in Montana, she’s excited to return home to the Midwest and Notre Dame’s vibrant community!

In her spare time, Rose enjoys hiking, taking care of her many plants, and discovering new coffee shops in her hometown.
